PROJECTMANAGER/ CONFERENCE MANAGER

The position:
Do you love the challenge of planning and realising an international conference ? Are you the multi-tasker we seek, who can support us as we handle budgets, venue negotiations, delegate relations and questions from our clients across multiple projects all at the same time? Would you like to work in a truly international environment, where the subject matter of the conferences you support will be cutting edge and current?
The CIM Global team at our European HQ in Amsterdam is seeking a new team member to join in our adventure in the challenging world of international meetings and conferences.
What we need from you:
You will run projects in the Netherlands and abroad, for international clients, on a scale of 300 - 2500 participants.
You will also be an important part of the operations team, you have an affinity for precise budgeting, are an excellent negotiator, have a structured approach to your work and can communicate well in all situations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Budget and final account
- Delegate Relations Management
- Scientific Programme Management
- Website Management
- Social Programme Management
- Exhibition Management
- Venue Sourcing, Logistics & On-site Support
- Sourcing of services and goods from vendors
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience and proven success in the independent management of
large (scientific) conferences, from A-Z (mid-level, junior)
- HBO Level
- Knowledge of MS Office required
- Fluent in English and Dutch both oral and written
- A 2nd foreign language is a pre.
