The Account Management team serves as a strategic business partner for internal customers to deliver a strategic approach to the management of the organizations book of meetings business as well as the design of the meeting structure, for international meetings and congresses / exhibitions initiated from the geographical regions outside US and Netherlands, related to the following functions: Marketing & Sales, MMD AH and support functions. In order to support the Meetings and Congresses Account Management team and management in their daily operations, we are looking for a strong Meeting Services Operations Officer.

Main duties / responsibilities:
The candidate will be expected to:
• Affinity with internet based applications
• Periodic report presentations on clients meeting activity/spend/savings, provide dashboards and analytics
• Support Meetings Self Service helpdesk
• Execute Meeting Services strategy and alignment with divisional business strategy
• Forecasting, managing and tracking of all meetings data
• Monitoring and reporting of compliance to corporate and divisional policies
• Supports Meetings & Conventions Account managers in their dealings with stakeholders and third party suppliers, meeting planning agency and travel agents.
• Maintaining customer centricity
• Maintaining service excellence
• Provide service delivery relative to meeting structure
• Budgeting
• Reconciliation & data capture
• Production elements (If necessary)
• Reducing the operating costs of meeting planning
• Industry Benchmarking
• Embrace and champion change, foster innovation, focus on the customer, demonstrate courage and collaborate across all divisions
• Drives the delivery of best-in-class meeting planning and travel services that are cost effective and deliver value.
• Demonstrate proficiency in departmental technology tools (Arcaneo Metron) and reporting data bases

Job requirements
Required
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Preferred background in Project management, Finance and/ or Congress Planning
• 2-4 years experience in Meetings/ Congress Planning

Preferred
• Fluent in business English
• Experience with Sales & Marketing Processes
• Knowledge of general pharmaceutical and Veterinarian industry is a pré
