An exciting opportunity has arisen within Allseas’ PR Department for an experienced and proactive Events Co-ordinator with a proven track record in event organisation. Our PR Department is based in Delft, the Netherlands, and is responsible for the internal and external communication and marketing activities of the Allseas Group, including concept development and production of all PR materials. As Events Co-ordinator you will promote, plan and participate in a wide range of events including client and personnel parties, vessel tours, meetings and presentations, as well as co-ordinating attendance at a range of externally organised conferences and exhibitions.

Your role
- Run, in co-ordination with the PR Manager, the corporate event planning and organisation process
- Plan and co-ordinate external events, including client parties and receptions, conferences, exhibitions and recruitment fairs
- Manage the internal annual events programme, including personnel party, Christmas and New Year festivities, project celebrations, sports events and lunchtime presentations
- Organise and assist with the safe transportation/displaying of vessel scale models to/from exhibitions, and where applicable co-ordinate claims/repairs for damages and/or model revisions
- Plan and co-ordinate, in partnership with the Operations Department, visits to and tours of Allseas’ vessels and yards
- Assist with the production and distribution of promotional materials for conferences/exhibitions and co-ordinate the timely delivery of presentational handouts and slides
- Recruit volunteers for attendance at conferences/exhibitions and to support the smooth running of events
- Attend events and provide on-site support
- Co-ordinate the timely research, approval, production and distribution of the annual Christmas gifts for staff and clients
- Handle all sponsorship and event-related phone call and email correspondences
- Support the PR Department with daily requests and activities

What we expect from you
- Degree-educated in Events Management or similar
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in events and/or hospitality/marketing/PR
- A keen eye for detail and able to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Highly organised with a hands-on, no-nonsense mentality and an ability to work on own initiative
- Be a team player, creative, assertive and a good sense of humor
- Stress resistant and service orientated
- Have good command of Office tools, especially Power Point and Excel
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel and work occasional weekends
